If your WordPress pages or posts show 404 Page Not Found, it’s often due to a permalink issue. You can fix it in less than a minute without changing your settings.

✅ Step 1: Log in to Your WordPress Admin

  1. Go to:

    bash
    yourwebsite.com/wp-admin
  2. Enter your username and password

  3. Click Log In

✅ Step 2: Open Permalink Settings

  1. In your Dashboard, go to:
    Settings → Permalinks

✅ Step 3: Save Changes (Without Modifying Anything)

  1. Do not change the current structure

  2. Simply scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes

✅ Step 4: Test Your Website

  • Visit a few pages and posts — the Page Not Found issue should now be fixed.

Why This Works

When you click Save Changes, WordPress automatically refreshes the .htaccess rules, which restores the correct URL paths for your site.
