Some workloads have to stay in the country: low latency for users on Tanzanian networks, data residency rules, or a tender that specifies local hosting. None of those are served by a machine in Germany, however fast it is.

We arrange those individually. We source capacity from Tanzanian data centres, build the server to the specification you need, and hand it over with the same root access and the same support as anything else we sell. Because the capacity is bought per project, the price depends on what is available — so it is quoted rather than listed here.

How is a VPS different from shared hosting?

On shared hosting you share a server's resources with other customers and manage your site through cPanel. On a VPS the CPU and RAM are reserved for you and you have root access to the whole machine. More power and more control — and more responsibility.

Do I really get root access?

Yes, from the moment the server is ready. Install any software, change any configuration, run any service the plan's resources will support.

Is it managed, or am I on my own?

Unmanaged — the operating system and everything on it is yours, and we do not touch the server unless you ask us to. Our team still answers questions about the network, the hardware and the platform at any hour. If you want us to manage it for you, ask and we will quote it.

Which operating system can I run?

Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04, AlmaLinux 9, Debian 12, Rocky 9 or Fedora from our templates — or upload your own ISO and install anything you like. You can rebuild to a different one later in about a minute.

Can I move up to a bigger plan later?

Yes. Upgrades take minutes and you pay only the difference for the remaining term. Nothing needs to be rebuilt or migrated.

What about snapshots and backups?

You can take an instant snapshot from the control panel before any risky change, and rebuild to a clean OS in about sixty seconds. That is a safety net for your own mistakes, not an off-site backup — if the data matters, keep a copy somewhere other than the server it lives on.

Where are the servers?

The standard plans on this page run in Tier 3 data centres in Europe. That is where the capacity is, and it is why they activate in seconds at these prices. Our shared hosting runs there too, so if you are choosing between the two, location is not what separates them.

Can I get a VPS hosted in Tanzania?

Yes. If the server has to sit inside the country — for latency to users on Tanzanian networks, for data residency, or because a tender or regulator requires it — we source capacity from Tanzanian data centres and build it for you.
