To upload your website files in cPanel, follow these steps:


1. Log in to your cPanel account

  • Usually at: yourdomain.com/cpanel

  • Enter your username and password.


2. Open the File Manager

  • In the cPanel dashboard, scroll to "Files" section.

  • Click File Manager.


3. Navigate to the Public Folder

  • Go to the folder where website files should go, usually:

    • public_html (for the main domain)

    • or a subfolder inside public_html for addon domains or subdomains.


4. Upload Your Files

  • Click the "Upload" button (top menu).

  • In the new tab that opens:

    • Click "Select File" or drag and drop your files to upload.

    • Wait for the upload to complete (you’ll see a green checkmark).

    • Go back to File Manager.


5. Extract ZIP File (if applicable)

  • If you uploaded a ZIP file:

    • Right-click it and choose Extract.

    • Confirm the extraction path (usually public_html) and click Extract File(s).

    • Delete the ZIP file afterward if you don’t need it.


6. Check Your Website

  • Visit your domain to confirm everything is working:

    • e.g., https://yourdomain.com
