Changing your email password regularly helps keep your email account secure. Follow these simple steps to update your email password through cPanel.
Step 1: Log in to cPanel
Open your web browser and log in to your cPanel account.
Example:
Enter your cPanel username and password.
Step 2: Open Email Accounts
After logging in:

Scroll to the Email section.

Click Email Accounts.
Step 3: Find Your Email Account
Locate the email address you want to update.
Example:
info@yourdomain.com
Click Manage next to the email account.
Step 4: Change the Password
Under the Security section:

Enter a new password, or
-
Click Generate to create a strong, secure password.
Password Tips
A strong password should include:

Uppercase letters (A–Z)
-
Lowercase letters (a–z)
-
Numbers (0–9)
-
Special characters (! @ # $ %)
Example:
N8#kP!92wX@4Lm
Avoid using names, birthdays, or simple words.
Step 5: Save the Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click:
Update Email Settings
Your new password is now active.
Update Your Devices
After changing your password, you'll need to update it on all devices where the email account is configured, including:

Outlook
-
Thunderbird
-
Apple Mail
-
Gmail App
-
Android Mail
-
iPhone Mail
-
Any other email client
If you do not update the password, your device may repeatedly fail to connect or display password errors.
