What is changing?

Previously, expired .TZ domains stayed active for 30 days before suspension.

Starting 24th September at 00:00 EAT, expired .TZ domains will only remain active for 7 days.

After 7 days without renewal, the domain will stop function (services like emails, website or system will stop).
What does this mean for you?

To avoid disruption of your website, email, and other online services, please ensure your .TZ domain is renewed on or before the expiry date.

Reminder emails will be sent 30, 15, and 5 days before expiry to help you keep track.
We strongly recommend enabling auto-renewal or renewing your .TZ domains early to avoid downtime.
